Born two weeks before he was due, Aaron was always in a hurry to
live life. Everything he did, except maybe his school-work, he did with passion and
joy,,,..from playing volleyball at family gatherings to playing rollerblade hockey with
his friends. He was never presented with a problem that he couldn't overcome
with persistence, nor was he ever presented with a situation that he couldn't handle with
guileless charm and humor.
No one can think of Aaron without thinking of his marvelous sense
of humor, with himself being the butt of most of the jokes.
Aaron never met a stranger, whether he was on the beach in
Alabama or in the mountains of Wyoming. Everywhere he went, his openness and
lop-sided smile always won over people he met. Aaron touched lives wherever he went.
This was evident by the number of mourners at his wake and funeral.
Even though we know he is in a far better place, life without
Aaron here can be almost too much to bear. It's hard to see anything about his
beloved hockey, or to see people his age, without feeling the ache of empty arms.
We learned much from Aaron's all too short stay with us, though.
We learned to live life to the fullest.......To make the best out of difficult
circumstances ......And, to remember to look for the joy in life because it truly is all
around us.
Thank you, Aaron. We Love You.
