"Over the years, I have heard from many individuals who are unclear or uncertain about how to tell truth from illusion on the subject of angels. Some of the things we need to keep in mind in evaluating the source are:
.....Angels of God protect and guide, they do not coerce. This would be a violation
of free will if it were otherwise.
.....Heaven's agents, or messengers, do not create an atmosphere of doubt and fear.
They bring peace, love, and hope. They help lead us closer to God...never, ever do
they do anything that would lead us away from God.
.....An angel's message will never fill you with a sense of being above other
people. Their message will not be about how great you are or how great they
are....rather, the message will be one of how great God is.
.....Messengers of God do not bring messages that denounce the existence of Jesus Christ,
nor do they speak of judgement or intolerance of others, nor do they give orders, nor do
they encourage you to do anything that does not strengthen your personal moral development
and closeness to your Creator. Their messages speak of love and offer potentials.
.....I have often found that when there has been a true angelic message from God given to
a person, the person's way of living changes. The individual is not the same as
before. And there is an awakening of humility arising from a deeper recognition of
God's Touch in his or her life. And in order to reflect back on even the tiniest
amount of that tremendous Love that was experienced, the person begins to take on
responsibilities, acts, and deeds that will contribute not to the
personal self primarily, but to the betterment of humanity.
.....Please....do not ignore the face of God or the voice of Heaven standing right beside
you."

"Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby, some have entertained
angels unawares" Hebrews 13:2
"Angels belong to a uniquely different dimension of creation that we, limited to the
physical dimension, can scarcely comprehend"
Rev. Billy Graham
"One thing is certain: Every time you open the Bible, there's a rustle of
angels" Marilynn Carlson Webber & William D. Webber, "A Rustle of
Angels"
"In the Old Testament, the Hebrew word for angel is mal'akh. In the New
Testament, the Greek word is aggelos. Both words mean "messenger"...one of the
most frequent duties assigned to angels. The word "angel" is applied in
scripture to heavenly beings whose business it is to act as God's Messengers to men and as
agents who carry out His will".
